Bembridge Marine LTD was formed in 1969, and have been manufacturers of rigid inflatable craft for commercial and recreational use since 2006. Based on the Isle of Wight. We have a large waterside boat yard looking after some 140 RIBs and sports boats. We have a large team of staff including engineering, boatbuilding and tube repair/replacement teams. We also run a popular RIB hire fleet in the summer months. Our team of skilled technicians have a vast knowledge of the marine sector which has been gained over many years. We have the opportunity to drive and test critique a large variety of boats and RIBs. From this we have been able to design and build a range of the highly acclaimed Shearwater RIBs, with fresh modern features and always robust, soft riding dry hulls, which will put up with the Northern European sea states.

Using a combination of proven techniques and cutting edge design, Shearwater provides turnkey packages and bespoke craft. Manufacturing RIBS from 3.5m up to 8.9m in length.

The deep V multi chine hull with a slim, high sheer bow combination allows our RIBs to be fast to plane, give responsive handling and an exceptional soft, dry ride quality. The spacious well thought out deck design is great for both serious offshore pursuits and family orientated days out. 

Our deep V hull balanced with just enough multi lift chines, gives a soft dry ride, even in the most unpredictable seas. This allows for a higher average speed compared to our competitors.
